The meeting of the FMCA Golden Spike Chapter was call to order by Conductor Tom Harrison at 6:23PM on August 4^th, 2009. A moment of silence was requested for our troops, and for the Golden Spikes’ members personal wishes. David Weilein led us in the Salute to the Flag without the hesitation. Minutes for our last meeting were approved as written in our newsletter, The Telegraph. Station Agent Bob Poole gave the Treasurer’s report.  All expenses have been paid and will have a balance of approximately $6,500. Rally expenses for the “Yosemite…or Bust” Rally has not been paid.  A motion and 2^nd was accepted that we pay all outstanding bills. The motion carried. There was a short discussion on the Governing Board meeting held during the last FMCA Convention. It was not pretty.  Future rallies were discussed. Our next Rally will be in October, 2009. We will ride the Fillmore-Western Railroad.  Details will follow in the Telegraph.   The meeting was adjourned at 6:47PM.
