FMCA Golden Spike Chapter: our 11th year. The Chapter interest is
railroads, and our venues are riding them. In ten years we have not
repeated riding on the same railroad. Our members are those that have an
interest in railroads and like to ride them. We normally cover the
western states when we venture out for our rallies. In 2010 we will
venture to Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Oregon, and Montana for our
venues....2010 should be fun. Our members consist of Santa Fe families,
others that worked for the railroad, and those who like model
railroading. Most of our members just like to ride railroads and learn
the history of them. Last year we did the reenactment of the driving of
the Golden Spike at Promontory Summit, Utah. All in all it is a fun
filled Chapter.
